Peter Khela

Peter Khela is a certified K–12 mathematics educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a minor in Education from New Jersey City University. He brings extensive classroom experience teaching mathematics and a strong foundation in both mathematical content and effective instructional practices.

Peter is passionate about helping students develop strong mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and confidence in their abilities. His teaching approach emphasizes conceptual understanding and meaningful real-world connections, encouraging students to think critically rather than simply memorize procedures.

By combining differentiated instruction, technology, and a supportive classroom environment, Peter works to meet the individual needs of each learner. He encourages students to ask questions, explore different strategies, and view mistakes as an important part of the learning process, helping them become more confident and independent mathematical thinkers.
