At AlphaMinds Academy, learning logic feels like play! Our fun, hands-on Logic program helps children ages 3–5 build critical thinking, reasoning, and early math skills while sparking curiosity and creativity.
In our two-year curriculum, young learners explore patterns, analogies, classification, sequencing, and arithmetic using the renowned Singapore Math Kindergarten approach—skills that align with OLSAT®, NNAT-2®, and ERB assessments.
With games, puzzles, and interactive activities, kids gain problem-solving skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning—all in small, nurturing classes. In addition to Logic, AlphaMinds Academy offers a wide range of academic enrichment programs in New Jersey, including math and language arts (reading and essay writing) .
Families can also choose from engaging enrichment classes that extend beyond core academics, providing opportunities for creativity and exploration. For students interested in technology, our coding classes for kids introduce programming and robotics in a fun, age-appropriate way that builds problem-solving and future-ready skills, while our chess program helps children develop logic, strategic thinking, and confidence at every level

A typical Logic class is highly interactive and combines hands-on activities, games, puzzles, and teacher-guided problem solving. Children will work on age-appropriate exercises that develop logical reasoning, critical thinking, attention, memory, spatial skills, pattern recognition, and early math concepts based on the Singapore Math curriculum. Activities change throughout the class to keep young learners engaged while encouraging them to think independently, explain their reasoning, and build confidence in solving new problems.
Our Logic program is designed primarily for children ages 3–5, with separate PreK and Kindergarten levels based on each child’s developmental stage and readiness. Most 4-year-olds who are new to our program begin with Logic PreK. However, some 4-year-olds with more advanced skills may be ready for Logic K. If you are unsure which level is the best fit, please contact us and we will be happy to help with placement.
Logic classes build a strong foundation in early math, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Children work with patterns, sequencing, classification, analogies, logic puzzles, memory and attention exercises, spatial reasoning, and hands-on arithmetic activities. Early math instruction incorporates the world-renowned Singapore Math Kindergarten curriculum, helping children develop strong number sense and mathematical thinking while learning to recognize relationships, make connections, and solve problems independently.
No. Children do not need to be able to read or have advanced number skills before joining. Our Logic PreK–K classes are designed for young learners at different developmental stages, and many activities are visual, hands-on, and game-based. Basic familiarity with numbers is helpful but not required. Teachers introduce and reinforce early math, logic, and problem-solving skills at an age-appropriate pace.
Parents can follow what their child is learning each week through our homework portal, where class recaps are posted and assignments reinforce the concepts and skills introduced in class. This gives families a clear picture of what students are working on and an opportunity to reinforce those skills at home. Parents can also schedule time to speak directly with their child’s teacher and are always welcome to reach out with questions about their child’s progress, strengths, or areas that may benefit from additional practice.
Our Logic students are required to purchase a specific set of books and workbooks for their course. Details will be provided after registration. Books are available for purchase directly from AlphaMinds Academy on your first day of classes.
