Families can choose in-person sessions at our Hoboken, Union City, and Jersey City locations, or opt for the flexibility of online classes. Private lessons are tailored to each student’s needs—whether it’s extra support, acceleration, or preparation for academic competitions—while still reflecting the same high-quality curriculum and structure found in our group academic enrichment classes.
Our private tutoring is available for all subjects, including Chess, Math, Logic, Reading, Essay Writing, Coding, Rubik’s Cube, and Russian Language Immersion. These sessions give students the individual attention they need to build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and achieve lasting success. Designed for children across all grade levels, our pre-K – 11 enrichment programs ensure that students receive the right level of challenge and support. Private instruction is available in Chess, Math, Logic, Reading, Essay Writing, Coding, Rubik’s Cube, and Russian. Lessons are customized to the student’s level, learning goals, and individual needs.
We match students with an instructor based on their age, current level, learning needs, and goals. Lessons are then customized to the individual student and may focus on strengthening specific skills, providing additional academic support, accelerating beyond grade level, or preparing for competitions or exams.
Private classes are available in person at the Jersey City, Hoboken, and Union City locations, as well as online.
Private lesson schedules are customized based on the student’s needs and instructor availability. Rates are available upon request and vary by subject and instructor level. Lessons may be rescheduled or canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to instructor availability. Lessons canceled with less than two hours’ notice are charged in full. We ask families to provide as much advance notice as possible when a schedule change is needed.
The frequency of private lessons is flexible and depends on the student’s needs and goals. Most families choose a schedule that works best for them, whether once or multiple times per week. Following an initial lesson, we typically require a minimum six-week commitment for ongoing private instruction.
