Register your child for the afterschool Chess and Coding classes, taught by AlphaMinds Academy and held on-site at Primary Prep.

Fall 2026 Classes

Chess Beginners I “Pawn Patrol”
Schedule: Mondays 3:00 – 4:00 pm
Grades: K-5
Dates: 10/05 – 01/25 (no classes 10/12, 12/28, 01/18) | 14 classes
Students who are new to chess or have very limited prior experience

Chess Intermediate “Knight Explorers”
Schedule: Mondays 3:00 – 4:00 pm
Grades: 2-6
Dates: 10/05 – 01/25 (no classes 10/12, 01/18) | 14 classes
Students continuing from the prior session and new students with prior chess experience are welcome!

Coding: Scratch Beginners
Schedule: Thursdays 3:00 – 4:00pm
Grades: 2-6
Dates: 10/08 – 01/28 (no classes 11/26, 12/24, 12/31) – 14 classes
This class is for students who are new to block-based coding or have very limited prior experience.

Grades: 2-6
