Register your child for the afterschool Chess and Coding classes, taught by AlphaMinds Academy and held on-site at Primary Prep.

Spring 2026 Classes

Chess Beginners I & II “Pawn Patrol”
Schedule: Mondays 3:00 – 4:00 pm
Grades: K-5
Dates: 02/02 – 05/18 (no classes 02/16, 04/06) | 14 classes
Students from the previous Beginners session and new students without prior chess experience are welcome!

Chess Intermediate “Knight Explorers”
Schedule: Mondays 3:00 – 4:00 pm
Grades: 2-6
Dates: 02/02 – 05/18 (no classes 02/16, 04/06) | 14 classes
Intermediate students continuing from the prior session and new students with prior chess experience are welcome!

Coding: Scratch Beginners
Schedule: Wednesdays 3:00 – 4:00pm
Grades: 2-6
Dates: 02/04 – 05/20 (no classes 04/08) | 15 classes
This class is for students who are new to block-based coding or have very limited prior experience.

Coding: Scratch Intermediate
Schedule: Wednesdays 3:00 – 4:00pm
Grades: 2-8
Dates: 02/04 – 05/20 (no classes 04/08) | 15 classes
Students continuing from from the Fall session and new students with prior Scratch experience are welcome!
