Our Logic PreK (Russian) course is part of our Russian immersion program. It is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, build reasoning skills, and lay a strong foundation in early logic and math for our youngest learners. Through playful exploration and guided activities, children will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and early numeracy skills that will support their growth in school and beyond.
For many students, this will be their first introduction to logic, arithmetic, and structured thinking. Using engaging games, verbal and visual puzzles, and hands-on activities, children will explore essential concepts such as patterns, sequencing, analogies, and basic number sense—all in a nurturing and supportive environment.
In this course, children will learn:
- Ordinal numbers from 1st to 10th
- Recognition of basic geometric shapes
- Matching, sorting, and classification
- Patterns and sequences
- Analogies and associations
- Spatial orientation and positioning
- Symmetry
- Understanding of whole and parts
The math portion of this class is based on the Singapore Math K(A) curriculum, widely recognized for its emphasis on conceptual understanding and problem-solving.
