ESSAY WRITING II (GRADES 4–5)

Our Essay Writing II course is designed to build upon their foundational writing skills and take students to the next level of written expression. Ideal for students in grades 4–5, this course focuses on more advanced essay types—such as persuasive, explanatory, and literary analysis—and introduces key skills like research, argumentation, and critical thinking.

    • Advanced Essay Types: Narrative, explanatory, persuasive, and creative writing
    • Persuasive Writing: Develop structured, evidence-based arguments and expressive, impactful language
    • Research Skills: Learn how to gather credible information, cite sources, and integrate research effectively
    • Literary Analysis: Practice interpreting texts with a critical eye and supporting ideas with textual evidence
    • Engaging Introductions: Explore creative ways to open essays—using bold facts, anecdotes, or dramatic moments
    • Extended Writing: Develop longer, multi-paragraph essays with improved organization and clarity
