Our Essay Writing I course is designed to strengthen students’ writing skills and boost their confidence in expressing ideas clearly and effectively. Tailored for students in grades 3–4, this course introduces the fundamentals of structured writing across three key essay types: narrative (personal and story-based), informative/explanatory, and opinion.

Essay Structure: Learn to organize writing with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion.

Thesis Development: Understand how to craft a focused, compelling thesis.

Paragraph Writing: Build effective paragraphs using the RACER model (Restate, Answer, Cite, Explain, Reflect).

Pre-Writing Strategies: Practice brainstorming, outlining, and drafting to support strong final pieces.

Grammar & Mechanics: Improve writing through focused lessons on punctuation, sentence structure, and grammar.
Students will receive weekly writing assignments and personalized instructor feedback to help them revise, strengthen, and refine their work.
