Kayla Pearson is an experienced educator with 15 years of teaching expertise, specializing in reading and writing instruction rooted in multi-sensory and research-based approaches.
Her career has taken her from Sacramento to San Francisco—and even Panama—where she has taught elementary and middle school, supervised a literacy clinic, and trained fellow educators. Kayla holds an Educational Specialist Master’s degree and teaching credential in mild/moderate disabilities from San Francisco State University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Child Development from California State University, East Bay.
Kayla is passionate about helping students find joy and empowerment through writing, guiding them to express their unique voices and creativity with confidence.
